We are open for providing full dental care
As of June 1, 2020, we can do cleanings and checkups.
We wanted to reach out to let our patients know our status and how we are responding to the outbreak of the coronavirus. Safety and infection control have always been our number one priority. The infection control procedures that we have used for the last several decades are effective in treating the coronavirus, when it comes to providing your dental care. To name a few of the things that we do- sterilization of instruments, using disposable barriers that are replaced between patients, disinfecting operatory surfaces between patients, and personal protection for Doctor and staff. For our part, we are looking at enhancing treatment room protocols and adding steps for non-treatment areas to limit any potential exposure or contact. We are following the CDC guidelines that are laid out specifically for dental offices. With this in mind, we are implementing the following steps:
We will do telephone screening prior to your visit for Covid-19 symptoms. Patients with symptoms or recent close contact with someone who was infected would have to reschedule.
Our goal is to have you go right into the treatment room upon your arrival and not have anyone wait the waiting room. On your arrival for your appointment, you can call or text us from your cell phone to let us know that you are here. We will then let you know if the treatment room is free. If it is ready you can come right in. Otherwise we can call you to let you know when to come in. For patients who do not have cell phones or do not want to wait in their car we will have chairs placed in the hallway outside of the office.
We request that you limit the number of people that accompanying you and that everyone wear a face covering.
We will take everyone’s temperature upon your arrival and go over any updates from the screening questions to make sure there were no changes.
We will make available hand sanitizer for patient use.
In the treatment rooms we will be using enhance PPE, personal protection equipment. Doctor and staff will be using N95 masks, face shields and disposable protective garments. If needed we also may use an enhanced type of suctioning system to keep aerosol spray to a minimum.

Dr. Brian Lavery and his staff are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Kevin Mosmen to our practice. Dr. Mosmen has extensive experience in both sedation and implant dentistry. These areas will be his focus. He will help us to expand the range of services that we can offer you. For our patients who have put off treatment because they have been anxious or fearful, we can now remove some of the barriers by offering you with oral or I.V. sedation. We want to make it clear that Dr. Lavery is NOT retiring, and that Dr. Mosmen is being brought on for his speciality services. Additionally, to remove other barriers we have added a scanning x-ray machine that can take both panoramic x-rays and 3-D images. 3-D images of the jaw are important and necessary in determining implant placement. Having this scanner in the office allows us to treatment plan implants without delay. If you have put off needing dental treatment because of anxiety or are interested in looking at the possibility of dental implants, give us a call today to come in for a no obligation consultation and we can go over your options.
